Davenports Financial Solutions has helped businesses and individuals achieve their financial goals for more than 70 years.
The firm was born from a merger of Davenport Partners, which was established in 1937, and Duval Partners, which started operations in 1990. Incredibly, Davenport Partners was founded by one of our current partner’s grandfathers and some of the family businesses he provided services for in the 1930s are still our clients today.
Davenports Financial Solutions is a four partner firm with a staff in excess of twenty.
It almost goes without saying that we’re good at what we do. We are experts in accounting, taxation, superannuation, bookkeeping, estate planning and other financial services. We are responsible and accountable. Our skills, knowledge and investment in training means we provide leading-edge solutions to financial and revenue law issues every day.

Our partners
Max Davenport
Max Davenport has been a partner at Davenports since 1976 and is a Fellow of the National Tax & Accountants Association (NTAA).
In addition to providing business advisory and taxation services to small and medium sized businesses, he also specialises in primary production. As such, many of Max's clients are primary producers in rural and regional areas. This sees Max spending many hours travelling our country highways to meet clients face to face, to provide them with personalised accounting services.
Linda Ingham
Linda Ingham joined Davenports in 2000 as a team member but soon rose to a managerial position. In July 2008 she became the first female to become a partner at Davenports.
Linda has extensive experience and expertise in business management and taxation services and in recent times has become a specialist in self managed superannuation funds. In addition to her attention to detail in providing expert client services, Linda is also the main driver in training and developing the professional skills and capabilities of Davenports’ younger team members.
Les Silpert
After an initial career in practice, Les Silpert spent many years in financial and general management positions. He returned to professional practice in 1999 and now manages Davenports Business Services Division.
Les’ many years in industry allow him to bring a strong commercial focus into the process of analysing and solving client issues.
Leon Duval
Leon Duval specialises in providing strategic financial management advice to family businesses. Leon also consults in the area of estate and succession planning and is an experienced executor, having acted on behalf of many deceased estates.
